Member Directory

The CCMGA Member Directory is (finally) on the web site. You can see it by clicking on “Member Directory” in the “Helpful Information” section in the right column. You need a password to get to the directory, but it is the same as it was in the past. The username and password is a professional golfer’s name. His first name is the username, and his last name is the password (all lowercase letters).

If you are new or just don’t remember the passwords, that’s ok. Just ask by clicking on the “Contact Us” menu near the top of this page.  You must be a member of the CCMGA to get the password!

One-Day Member-Guest

Date: Saturday, June 5, 2010
Time:
8:30 Shotgun Start on the Port Course.
Price: $120 per team

The format is a one best-ball of the 2-person team.

Flight A will have one gross prize and the remainder net. All other flights will be net only. (90% handicap)

Your fee includes your guest’s green fee, cart fee for you and your guest, coffee and pastries before the round, lunch after the round, prizes and a 50% DISCOUNT COUPON TOWARD YOUR GUEST’S GREEN FEE ON THE FOLLOWING DAY IF YOU WISH TO BRING HIM OUT FOR ANOTHER ROUND. (this coupon is valid on Sunday June 6, 2010 only and you must reserve your own tee time).

Happy Birthday, Captains!

The Captains Golf Course opened to the public on May 24, 1985.

To celebrate its 25th anniversary, the Captains Golf Course is rolling prices back to 1985 on May 24th, 2010 (one-day only).

  • 18-hole green fee: $20
  • 18-hole cart fee: $8
  • Twilight green fee (after 4:00 p.m.) only $12

CCMGA Twilight League

UPDATE: The twilight league roster has been filled.  However, if you are interested in being a “sub”, please contact us.

The CCMGA Twilight League is moving to Monday!

1.      We are looking for 48 players plus subs to form 24 two-man teams to play on Monday afternoons during June, July and August.

2.      Players will be paired on a first come, first served basis and put into the appropriate flight based on handicaps.  Two players may sign-up as a team if desired.

3.      With full subscription, we will create four flights of six teams each, arranged by handicap.

4.      Each team will play the other teams in their flight twice with two additional position rounds for a total of 12 rounds per team.

5.      A $25 one time entry fee will be required at sign-up which will be used for prizes that will be awarded at the end of the season.

6.      Competition will be match play (details to follow).  Team standings will be posted each week.

7.      Reserved tee times will be assigned so that individuals will not need to call in for reservations.

8.      Tee times will be posted on Friday for the matches to be played on Monday.

You must become a CCMGA member to sign-up for this new opportunity to have some fun playing golf and perhaps to meet new people at the Captains Course.
