These are the various formats used during the weekly Wednesday morning matches. Check the calendar for this week’s format.

Team Quota -Teams consisting of an A,B,C and a D player compete on a total points basis. Play is 100% handicapped but with a maximum handicap of 32 ( 32 handicap and higher players must make 4 points). Points awarded as follows: Eagle = 8 points, Birdie = 4, Par = 2, Bogie = 1, Others = 0.

Individual Quota – Individuals compete against each other in their own flights.
“A” players play together; “B” players play together and so forth.
This format is used to determine flight winners for the Memorial Trophy playoff.
Scoring is the same as in Team Quota.

Two-Man Best Ball (a.k.a Fourball) – Two man teams compete on a total score basis with only the lowest net score based on each player’s handicap counting on each hole. (85% handicaps)

Two Best Balls of Four – Teams will compete on a total score basis with only the two lowest net scores based on each player’s handicap counting on each hole. (85% handicaps)

BrambleStarts just like a scramble… Each player tees off. Select the best
position and everyone plays within one club length of that
location, however you must stay in the same condition (e.g. if
you are in the rough, then you must stay in the rough).
Then not like a scramble… Starting with your second shot, all
players then play their own ball until holed out. The two
lowest net scores count as your team score on each hole.

Waltz 1,2,3– Four-man teams compete on a net score basis as follows:

  • On hole #1, use only the single lowest net score
  • On hole #2, use the two lowest net scores
  • On hole #3, use the three lowest net scores.
  • Repeat… for holes 4,5,6 use 1,2,3 balls
  • 85% handicaps
