The CCMGA held their Spring Kickoff Meeting on Wednesday April 26 at the Pavillion. The meeting was opened by Bill Glass the President of the Men's Association, who shared some of the plans the association has to improve and foster more camaraderie among the players. Other speakers included Ray Gomez, Steve Bryant, and Tony Amundson.
Spring Kickoff Meeting a Huge Success!
Chris Dupill arranged for us to have a guest speaker, and a gentleman representing Titleist/Cobra Companies, Mr. David Moynihan gave a very informative presentation which included discussion about clubs, different type of balls, swing speed, and the importance of club fitting. Each attendee was given two sleeves of balls, and in addition, there was a drawing for a new COBRA Driver which included a free fitting at the Titleist Golf Center, and it was won by RALPH INGEGNERI.
Congratulations Ralph!!! The Association also presented Chris Dupill with an honorarium in recognition of his selection as Cape Cod Teacher of the Year. The meeting was at tended by over 70 members of the association, which is a fantastic turnout. More events are being planned, so plan to get involved. Support your Association, and you'll enjoy a fun filled golf season.
